Come onnn! Do me a solid! I just finished squeezing the lime for this Dos Equis that I had to steal from my dad’s fridge because he refuses to enable me when he’s not at work. My afternoon in fourth grade.

Paul’s mom teaches fourth grade. We heard they were making thankful turkeys today. We were all over it.

Kelsey liked my rainbow coloring. She’d colored one of her feathers in a rainbow. The “Miles” feather for her cat that they’d just put down. Kelsey was a handful.

Paul thought he was smart for writing a big calculus equation on the board and telling everyone it was homework. Paul was thankful I only felt like getting the kids to call him a show-off. I’m very influential, you know. It’s easy to be influential when you’re wearing a geese sweater; people think you’re their grandmother.

At the end of the day, we got Jolly Ranchers, and Paul’s mom said I was beautiful.

When I was little, I was convinced that every time you crashed in Pole Position, the car parts would jump out of the television.
