Hey, freshman-year self. Yeah, you, with your tan skin, attending sporting events, throwing up deuces with your gold pearls. I just want to say thanks. For that free pizza deal you got before school even started. Which was actually the first bonding experience you had with your dormmates. When you left your terrible highschool friend behind and piled in a car mostly packed with really great people who you still talk to.

Anyway, thanks again for getting a Papa John’s coupon printed on a little plastic football for a free large, one topping pizza. Because junior year self just turned that in and got mad delicious free food. om nom.

The Language of Lego:

Four kids were asked their names for all the different Lego pieces. (The chart is at the bottom). Max is my favorite, Raimi has the closest naming system to mine, and Jem’s “Blaster piece” made me lol. Barney obviously has boring parents and thinks adding “-er” to anything makes it a real word.

I just want to play with these children. Is that weird? I just feel like we’d have a lot to talk about. I’m so afraid of getting put on this hypothetical creeper master list.(via)

Paul is not open to new food experiences. Paul is going to an Indian buffet on Thursday because some dude suggested it. Paul has never had any interest in Indian food before because Indian food is not a cheeseburger and fries. I can’t wait for him to vomit all over the tandoori chicken just because he couldn’t say no.

Sending all these pictures to Paul has made me really want some bharta and naan.

Just say that you’re getting over being sick and just eat cheese naan and dip. Actually just only eat naan. I think it might be the only safe food for you. EMILY, LET’S GET BHARTA AND CHEESE NAAN THIS WEEKEND.

Just say you’d rather go to a different restaurant. Where you can eat things and not be uncomfortable. I would be upset if someone went where I wanted to go and didn’t enjoy themselves. Unless I’d said “OMG LET’S GO TO INDIA’S HOUSE. NEED IT IN MY MOUTH.” Then you’d have no choice, and I wouldn’t care if you starved there. But with just a “How about India’s House?” you don’t have to go. Especially if you don’t plan on trying the food. The fun of the India’s House lunch buffet is stuffing yourself silly with someone else who loves the food so much they also don’t mind being ridiculously full for the rest of the day.

And I swear if you go and eat these things and pretend you like them when you really want to vomit just to make this guy think you’re expanding your horizons for him, I’ll shoot you. I really will. I will not let your life become Runaway Bride.
