Today my friend was too hungover so instead of going to a museum, we colored things from an adult coloring book that I picked up for $2 at the Fred Flare mega sale.

While Xannon was learning to thread a needle today, I made these really great curtains!! I also mounted the curtain rod. I’m an awesome stay-at-home dad, you guys.
Now that I’ve got a pretty nice sewing machine (my mom brought it for me when she visited), I’ll hopefully be using it more to hem some skirts at least. I have one in mind already.
Cat curtains are kind of the final word on “Welp, I guess I’m never planning on bringing anyone home,” right?** They’re just so CUTE, though. I hope I don’t start talking to them.
**Or maybe that ship sailed when I posted a photoshopped picture of Paul and me in wedding attire on a Titanic Museum brochure and hung it above my bed?

I’m sorry I couldn’t find my stamps, everybody. In my defense, last time I sent a creepy valentine, it never reached its intended target. My theory is the USPS thought all the loose glitter was anthrax.

And, finally, the holly glitter crown. That may include several glittery dixxx. Xannon started it with anatomical snowflakes. God wouldn’t have made boy parts so easy to draw if he didn’t want them crafted and glittered every season.
